‘Beauty and the Beast, Jr.’ takes stage March 7-23

Windham Center Stage Theater presents the annual children’s show, Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast, Jr.” March 7-23. The show is directed by Mary Wassick and produced by Dawn Leighton.

The brainy and beautiful Belle yearns to escape her provincial life…and her brute of a suitor, Gaston. However, Belle gets more adventurous than she wanted when she becomes a captive in the Beast’s enchanted castle. Dancing flatware, menacing wolves, and singing furniture fill the stage with thrills in this beloved fairy tale about very different people finding strength in one another and learning how to love.

“Beauty and the Beast, Jr.” is ideal for the whole family. It will be presented for the public at the Windham Town Hall Fridays at 7 p.m., Saturdays at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sundays at 4 p.m. To reserve tickets, call 893-2098 or email [email protected]. Adult tickets are $10, seniors and students $8, and children age 5 and under $5.
