Freeport Community Services would like to thank the many volunteers, donors and organizations that helped to make our 10th annual Freeze Out event such a huge success in 2014. Despite the below-zero temperatures, our staff and volunteers were kept warm by the unbelievable outpouring of support for the FCS food pantry and fuel fund. With your help, we raised over $24,000 for those in need this winter.

We would like to thank the White Cedar Inn, the Wind Point Foundation, Norway Savings Bank, the town of Pownal, Gritty’s and Starbucks for both their lead donations and their ongoing support of the Freeze Out. A huge vote of thanks also goes to the Freeport Rotary and Shaw’s supermarket, who “stuffed the bus” from L’Ecole Francais with over 2,500 pounds of food.

We are very proud to work with the Freeport High School Interact Club students, as well as Boy Scout Troop 58. We are very grateful to this wonderful community for all you do to keep families warm and fed.
