Gordon Page Sr. was appointed executive director of Rockland Main Street Inc., an organization affiliated with the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Main Street Center and the Maine Development Foundation.

Page had been a vice president at Maine Eastern Railroad and currently owns his own marketing and public relations business based in Owls Head.

PROMOTIONS

The Maine Department of Corrections has promoted Shane Blakely to senior cadre (captain) for the training division.

Blakely began his work in Maine in Corrections over five years ago as a corrections officer at the Maine State Prison.

Martin Duggan and Bret Cote were named vice presidents and shareholders of Clark Insurance.

Duggan, of Buxton, joined Clark Insurance in 1997 and has been a top-performing life and health insurance agent for more than 25 years.

Cote, of Manchester, N.H., joined Clark Insurance in 2007. He is the agency’s New Hampshire sales manager leading the eight person all-lines office in the state’s largest city.

 

Jennifer Johnson was promoted to vice president of Kennebunk Savings Bank.

Johnson, of South Berwick, previously served as manager of corporate online cash management. She joined Kennebunk Savings Bank more than 10 years ago.

AWARDS

Verrill Dana was recognized with the sixth annual International M&A Advisor Award in the “M&A Deal of the Year ($75-$100 million).”

The firm was recognized for its work on the acquisition of Vitran Supply Chain Inc.’s Supply Chain Division by LEGACY Supply Chain Services Inc.

 

Tom Jones, owner of Tom Jones Photography in Brunswick, was honored with the prestigious Distinguished Colleague Award by the Maine Professional Photographers Association.

Jones was recognized for his years of photographic achievement and for his dedication and service through teaching and mentoring other photographers. The award also recognized his role in fundraising for the community and volunteering for local charities. He is the second person in 55 years to receive this award.

 

Gorham Savings Bank recently recognized Cheryl Perry and Julie Case with 2013 Gorham’s Greatest Customer Service Award.

Perry and Case were recognized for demonstrating great customer service and for being role models of the Bank’s Tenets of Customer Service.

Perry is a personal banker II at the bank’s Standish branch. Case is a senior risk and compliance officer located at the Bank’s Operations Center in Gorham.

Dr. Scott Mills, vice president of medical administration and chief medical officer and cardiologist at Mid Coast Health Services, was recently elected president of the Bath Area Family YMCA Board of Directors for a one-year term.

Mills lives in Brunswick.

GENERAL

Tilson opened a Denver office in February.

Tilson’s new location has focused on information technology services and is located in the Denver Technology Center in Greenwood Village, Colo.
