In the 1930s, the resourceful violinist Bronislaw Huberman helped great Jewish musicians – along with almost a thousand more people – escape the encroaching Nazi rule by bringing them to Palestine, where they formed their own symphony.
Itzhak Perlman, Zubin Mehta, Pinchas Zukerman and Joshua Bell are among the musicians who take part in this documentary. Not rated. 1:25
