Portland police arrested a 24-year-old man Friday and charged him with robbing a drugstore the night before.
Daniel Macisaac of Portland was arrested Friday afternoon on Cumberland Avenue. Police said he is the man who entered the Rite Aid drugstore at 290 Congress St. at about 8:45 p.m. Thursday, threatened a clerk and demanded cash.
According to police, the robber claimed to have a gun but didn’t display a weapon, and he ran from the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No one was hurt.
Police said their investigation of the robbery is continuing.
