Kevin Gardner, a builder and restorer of antique walls and author of the book “The Granite Kiss,” will talk about the history of New England’s thousands of miles of stone walls and the differences in approach between historical and contemporary wall-builders.

The presentation will include restoration tips, techniques and information about design, acquiring materials and preservation.
