To the residents, Board of Selectmen, department head and employees of Durham:

After 36 years of service to the town of Durham, I am terminating my employment.

I have strived to serve with excellence and integrity. I have made my decisions based on ethical considerations. However I do know that sometimes I have been a “thorn.”

With mixed emotions I say “thank-you” to all who have volunteered, worked with and supported me through my years of service.
