NEWTON, Mass. — Professional Loss Adjusters, Inc. recently announced the addition of two new licensed public adjusters.

Lynn R. Knowlton, licensed public adjuster, is a graduate of Southern Maine Technical College, where she received her certification in building construction and residential drafting. She is a former firefighter/EMT and managing partner of B.K. Her volunteer work includes helping out with Girl Scouts, the local high school special education department and Habitat for Humanity. She is an advisor to boys aged 12-21 for the local chapter of the Maine DeMolay Association.

John B. Knowlton, a licensed public adjuster and Lynn’s son, is a graduate of Westbrook Regional Vocational Center, where he earned his certification in electricity and computer networking/repair. While at WRVC, he served on the director’s advisory board. In addition, he has successfully completed a full course of study at the Insurance Schools, Inc. in Charleston, W.Va. He has worked with his family’s construction and investment real estate business for many years, performing estimates, roofing and general maintenance.

He is a former past master of the local chapter for the Maine DeMolay Association.

“We are delighted to welcome two new members to the staff of Professional Loss Adjusters. Both Lynn and John will add depth to our Maine office, which will allow us to extend our services in both Maine and New Hampshire,” said Leonard Theran, principal of Professional Loss Adjusters, Inc., in a prepared statement.

Bruce Knowlton, Lynn’s husband, also works at the family business as a licensed public adjuster. The Knowltons’ Professional Loss Adjusters, Inc. office is located at 15 Cole Hill Road in Standish.
