Thursday’s game between the Portland Sea Dogs and the host New Britain (Conn.) Rock Cats was postponed due to wet grounds and will be made up as part of a doubleheader Friday beginning at 5:35 p.m.

The Sea Dogs will play two seven-inning games with Keith Couch (2-0) taking the mound against D.J. Baxendale (0-1) in the opener followed by Mickey Pena (1-0) against Taylor Rogers (0-2) in game two.

It was Portland’s third-straight postponement after inclement weather pushed Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s games against the Binghamton to doubleheaders in May.
