NEW LONDON, N.H. — Salinda Dong of Sanford was one of the 18 Colby-Sawyer College Medical Reserve Corps members who helped organize the CSC Let’s Move event at the Dan and Kathleen Hogan Sports Center on Saturday, March 29.
Dong is a biology major.
Under the organizational leadership of MRC Club President Sukriti Raut, CSC Let’s Move featured Zumba, Insanity, Drums Alive, Pilates, yoga, physical therapy and reiki, among other activities. The first wellness fair in the history of Colby-Sawyer, the event was inspired by first lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move!” program that aims to solve the epidemic of childhood obesity.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
