WATERBORO — Aline B. Hord, 73, of Waterboro, died Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.

She was born on Nov. 28, 1940 in Biddeford, a daughter of Romeo and Irene (Brouillard) Boilard.

Moving to Cape Cod as a child, she was educated in Orleans, Mass. schools and was a graduate of Nauset Regional High School and Cape Cod Community College, where she earned her nursing degree.

Aline served in the U.S. Navy as a nurse. She later practiced her profession at the Webber Hospital in Biddeford, Goodall Hospital and Greenwood Nursing Home, both in Sanford.

Aline enjoyed knitting, dining out and being with her dogs, Zeva and Apollo.

She was preceded in death by: a brother, Normand Boilard.

Aline is survived by: one son, Normand Hord of Waterboro, with whom she had resided; and a sister, Germaine Paige of Orleans, Mass.

Visiting hours will be 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm St., Biddeford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Anne’s Chapel of St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford. Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Saco.
