BIDDEFORD — Doris J. Beaudette, 90, of Biddeford died Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough after a long illness.

She was born July 2, 1923 in Sanford, a daughter of Alfred and Blanche (Armstrong) Perreault and was educated in Sanford Schools.

On Nov. 24, 1945, she married Ernest Paul Beaudette at St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford.

Doris was devoted to her children; her family meant everything to her. She enjoyed sewing, playing bingo, shopping and hosting parties and events.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Ernest in 1968; her son, Ernest Paul Beaudette Jr. in 1992; her grandson, Kyle Scribner in 2010; three brothers, Wilfred, Roland and Antonio Perreault; and three sisters, Beatrice Gagne, Cecile Michaud and Irene Delcourt.

Doris is survived by: five daughters, Nancy Drury and her husband Tom of Waterbury, Conn., JoAnn Beaudette of Old Orchard Beach, Alice Pare and her husband John of Biddeford, Doris St. Ours and her husband Gary of Biddeford, and Deena Presby and her husband David of Biddeford; one son, Andre R. Beaudette and his wife Sheila of Waterboro; one brother, Raymond Perreault of Saco; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Joseph’s Church in Biddeford. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
