SANFORD — Monica R. Therrien, 70, of Sanford, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the Southern Maine Health Care in Sanford.
She was born in Sanford on Oct. 29, 1943, a daughter of the late Roland and Cecile (Tanguay) Therrien.
A lifelong communicant of Holy Family Church, she was also a member and past president of the Ladies of St. Anne.
Monica was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by: one brother, James Therrien; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
Per her wishes, there will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Thérèse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter St., Sanford.
