BATH — The Brunswick High School junior varsity baseball teamed exploded for 17 runs in the second inning en route to a 28-3 victory against Morse in KVAC baseball action yesterday on Monday.
Brunswick’s offense was led by catcher Evan Groat, who finished with five hits, four RBIs and three runs scored. Josh Goddard and Zach Larrabee each added three hits and three RBIs.
Joey Doherty got the win on the mound for Brunswick, going five innings and allowing just two earned runs and striking out three.
Brendan Harper led the way for Morse with two hits and a run scored.
Brunswick’s next action will be next Monday at Oxford Hills.
