HONOLULU, Hawaii — Richard Henry Chretien passed away April 14, 2014 in Honolulu after a three-year battle with cancer.
He was born Nov. 18, 1960 in Sanford, N.C. to the late Donald L. and Claire B. (Hubert) Chretien.
He was educated in Saco, Maine schools, graduating from Thornton Academy in 1978.
He is survived by: his wife, Wendy (Lemont) Chretien of Honolulu; sons, John Chretien of Honolulu and Donald Chretien of Madison, Maine; his daughters, Cheryllee Chretien of Honolulu and Tiffani Watson and her husband Rocky of Nashville, Tenn.; sisters, Patricia Guillerault and her husband David of Trinity, Fla. and Diane Howe Chretien of Pflugerville, Texas; brothers, Dennis Chretien of Saco, Maine and Carl Chretien of Biddeford, Maine; former sister-in-law, Linda Chretien of Arundel, Maine; stepfather Albert Marcotte of Saco, Maine; his stepsister, Claire Lacerte and her husband Bill of Biddeford, Maine; and four grandchildren.
