The 14th annual Birding Challenge is looking for team members, team captains and fundraisers.

In the past, this York County Audubon event has been supported by many individual and business donors. In turn, the funds are reinvested in environmental education, conservation and research projects within York County.

The quest to find as many species as possible will begin at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 16 and end at 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, followed by the compilation get-together. The counting can occur anywhere in York County.

Anyone who cannot join a team is welcome to make a donation.

For more information or to sign up, contact Pat Moynahan at 284-5487 or Linda Eastman at 286-9586.
