Nick Bevilacqua hit a run-scoring triple to break a scoreless tie in the fourth inning, and Deering went on to a 9-1 victory against Thornton Academy in an SMAA baseball game Friday at Hadlock Field.

The Rams (1-2) added four runs in the fourth on consecutive hits by Dom Bernard, David Fowler and Kevin Goldberg.

Matt Rutherford hit a sacrifice fly in the sixth for the Trojans (1-2).

BONNY EAGLE 2, SCARBOROUGH 1: Kyle Labrecque pitched a three-hitter as Bonny Eagle (1-2) downed the Red Storm (0-3) at Scarborough.

Labrecque struck out one, walked one and hit two.

Will McKay had an RBI single and Matt Bridges scored on an error to make it 2-0 in the first inning.

SACOPEE VALLEY 1, BUCKFIELD 0: Alex Fenderson was hit by a pitch, stole second and third, then scored on a two-out single by Anthony Haskell in the seventh inning to give the Hawks (3-0) a walk-off victory against the Bucks (0-2) at South Hiram.

Haskell and Roderick Maynard combined to strike out seven in a two-hitter for Sacopee.

Jonah Williams of Buckfield threw a two-hitter with eight strikeouts and no walks.

CAPE ELIZABETH 7, YORK 4: Nicholas Bozek was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to break a tie during a five-run seventh inning and Michael Best followed with a two-run single as the Capers (1-3) rallied past the Wildcats (2-2) at York.

York erased a 2-0 deficit when Samuel Johnson led off the bottom of the fifth with a homer and Derek Neal added a two-run blast following a Matthew Pratt single.

FALMOUTH 3, FREEPORT 2: Freshman reliever Reece Armitage struck out the final four batters as the Yachtsmen (3-0) edged the Falcons (0-3) at Falmouth.

After replacing starter Ryan Mucci, Armitage ended a bases-loaded situation in the sixth inning before retiring the side in the seventh.

Patrick Lydon singled home Addison Fultmer in the fifth for a 3-1 Falmouth lead.

Bennett Hight of Freeport had two hits, including a double.

YARMOUTH 16, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 10: The Clippers (4-0) scored 10 runs in the fourth inning and defeated Fryeburg Academy (0-4) at Yarmouth.

C.J. Cawley hit a two-run double and Luke Klenda added a two-run single.

Jack Snyer and Cody Cook both finished 2 for 3 for Yarmouth with three runs scored.

Bill Rascoe of Fryeburg was 4 for 5 with a double, triple and three RBI.

KENNEBUNK 9, LAKE REGION 1: Nate Gilbert drove in two runs for the Rams (1-3) against Lake Region (0-4) at Kennebunk.

Ben Lary of the Rams pitched five innings with two strikeouts, no walks and seven hits.

Robbie Burns sparked a three-run second with an RBI single. Eric Aiken added a solo homer in the fourth.

WINDHAM 5, NOBLE 4: Tanner Laberge had three hits and Tyler Johnson pitched the final two innings for his first win for the Eagles (3-1), who scored twice in the seventh inning to beat the Knights (1-2) at Windham.

Laberge tripled in Spencer Hodge to tie the game in the seventh, then won it by scoring on a fielder’s choice by Andrew Whiting.

In the fifth, Laberge doubled home Johnson and scored on a double steal after Whiting reached on a single.

Ethan Petty and Zach Conley had two hits for Windham.

Corey Halliday of Noble struck out eight.

OCEANSIDE 13, LEAVITT 3: The Mariners (5-0) used a seven-run second inning to roll past the Hornets (1-3) at Rockland.

James Tobin had a single and a three-run homer in the fourth for Oceanside. Sam Godfrey and Drew Gosselin doubled for Leavitt.

MT. VIEW 5, GARDINER 1: David Clark had three hits, scored twice and drove in a run for the Mustangs (2-3), who totaled five runs in the final two innings to down the Tigers (1-3) at Thorndike.

TRAIP ACADEMY 15, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 0: The Rangers (2-2) scored 10 runs in the first inning and went on to beat the Panthers (0-3) in five innings at Kittery.

Joe Spinney delivered a two-run single in the first, and Dan Tokarz and Johnny Guy added RBI singles.

WAYNFLETE 6, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 5: Joseph Schnier had three hits and struck out nine as Waynflete (3-2) downed the Seagulls (2-2) at Old Orchard Beach.

The Flyers scored four runs in the first inning. Isaac Scher led off with a double. Schnier also doubled in the inning and Josh Lodish singled in two.

LACROSSE

YARMOUTH 9, GREELY 5: Billy Jacobs had three goals to lead the Clippers (3-1) past the Rangers (2-2) at Cumberland.

Brendan Dioli and Max Watson scored twice each for the Clippers. Mitchell Mullen had three goals for Greely.

YORK 7, LAKE REGION 6: Mason Finitz and Trenton Spencer scored two goals apiece for the Wildcats (1-2), who built a 7-1 halftime lead and held off the Lakers (0-3) at Naples.

Drew Shane and Zach Tidd each scored twice, and Shane also had two assists for the Lakers.
