SACO — Thornton Academy jumped out to a 12-2 halftime lead over visiting Deering, then held on for a 14-7 victory over the Rams in an SMAA boys lacrosse game at Hill Stadium on Thursday.
Isaac Sinclair paced the Trojans offense with six goals and four assists, while Cody Falton chipped in with three goals of his own.
Sam Hornblower led the Rams with two goals.
