BANGOR — Cordelia Stewart and Emily Reilly combined for a one-hitter over five innings of wet softball to defeat Brunswick, 13- 1 in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference softball action on Friday.
Stewart paced the offense with three RBIs.
Alexis Hafford hit a double that one-hopped the center field fence to drive in two runs for the Rams, and Sarah Bragg added two singles.
Ashley Howe had the lone hit for Brunswick in the fourth inning, while Hannah Escoe and Tami Burgess took turns on the mound.
Brunswick visits Mt. Blue on Wednesday.

The Vikings tallied five runs in the third and two more runs in the fourth to take control for a KVAC win at South Paris on Friday.
Crystal West singled three times for Oxford Hills (3-1), while Myriah Lausier singled and doubled, and Kayleigh Knox singled twice. Shannon Fillebrown added a double
West and Monica Harthorne combined to allow two hits and strike out four in the win.
Alana Weaver went five innings on the mound for Mt. Ararat (0-4 and scheduled to host Mt. Blue today). She struck out three and walked four. Kim Leslie threw one inning with one strikeout.
Katelyn Cox and Maggie Vaillancourt each singled for the Eagles.

Emily Keene scattered two hits and Spruce Mountain played solid defense as the Phoenix defeated Lisbon in Mountain Valley Conference action Friday afternoon at Jay.
Hayley Doyen led off the bottom of the third for the Phoenix (3-1) with a single. Following a walk and an infield hit, Kailee Newcomb knocked in a pair with a single to right field as the Phoenix took a 4-0 lead.
Taylor Plourde hit a home run over the left-field fence in the seventh inning for the Greyhounds, 1-2 and scheduled to host Winthrop today.

FALMOUTH 17
Julia Treadwell tossed a five-inning no-hitter as Falmouth toppled Freeport in Western Maine Conference action on Friday.
Treadwell walked two and the game was called due to the Mercy Rule.
Jess Perry and Bailey Karnes each walked for the 0-3 Falcons, who are scheduled to visit York today. Hannah Roy and Brianna Bellefluer took turns on the mound and gave up seven hits.
Krysia Lesniak had three RBis for the 2-1 Yachtsmen.
