
He attended schools in Brunswick and graduated from Brunswick High School class of 1969. He started his career as a small engine mechanic and welder, and he also exceeded in many other trades. His passion was for his beloved wife of 28 years Patricia. He loved Harley-Davidsons, fishing, boating, gardening, and cooking. His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family and playing with his grandchildren and nephews.
He is survived by his loving wife Patricia R. Wilson; three daughters: Tina Wilson Churchill and husband Caleb of Somerville, Sheri Wilson and fiancé Mark Ridgeway of Topsham, and Elizabeth Heath and husband
Ron of Mechanic Falls; a brother Guy Wilson and wife Sally of Freeport; three grandsons: Tyson, Eddie and Joey; three granddaughters: Breanna, Kelsea and Lauren; greatgrandson Carter, great-granddaughter Sophia, his two nephews Glen and Gordan, and many in-laws.
Visitation is at Fortin in Auburn on Saturday, May 10 from 1 to 4 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, May 11 at 11:30 a.m. Those wishing to make donations in Robert’s memory may do so to help the family, C/O Patricia Wilson, 15 Durgin Road, Turner, ME 04282.
