LISBON FALLS — Brett Gravel’s seventh-inning single drove in Joe Philbrick with the winning run to lift Lisbon High School past Madison, 6-5 Friday in Mountain Valley Conference baseball action.

Tyler Halls went 6.2 innings with seven strikeouts and and six walks, and Ryley Austin relieved and took the mound win.

The Greyhounds were cruising, leading 2-0 heading to the seventh. But, Madison rallied for five runs to take a 5-2 lead.

Lisbon came right back, answering with a four-run rally in the bottom of the frame for the walk-off win.

In the Lisbon eight-hit offense, Kyle Bourget had two hits and an RBI, and Philbrick a run-scoring double in the seventh.

Derek LeBlanc had a single, double and run scored for 2-5 Madison. Chase Malloy hurled 6.2 innings with two strkeouts and no walks.

GARDINER 3

Trenton Moore was 3-for-3 at the plate, leading the Shipbuilders to a KVAC Class B win at Gardiner on Thursday.

Moore scored four runs and stole four bases, while Ethan Winglass and Liam McDonough were both 2-for- 4, and Chris Paulus chipped in a two-run double.

Hunter Chase doubled for Gardiner.

The Shipbuilders scored three runs in the first on an RBI single by McDonough and a two-run double by Paulus.

Morse scored in every inning but one, adding three runs in the second, two in the fourth, one in the fifth and three more in the sixth to end the contest via the Mercy Rule.

Dakota Jacobs earned the mound win.

The Shipbuilders are slated to host Mt. View today at Kelley Field.
