BATH — Sharon Drake Real Estate picked up win number three on the Cal Ripken Baseball season by defeating BMDA 9-5 in recent action.
BMDA led this one through two and a half innings until Sharon Drake scored four runs in the bottom of the third inning with the help of a three-run home run by Nicco Bartone.
Bartone also singled as did Brenton Cahill, Brogan Shaw and Aaron Landel. Cahill, Bartone, Shaw, Jack Leonard and Ken Bassett all pitched for Sharon Drake and combined to strike out six.
The BMDA offense was led by a Joey Cholish home run in the fifth inning. Logan Pelletier singled twice and Timmy Welsh also chipped in a single.
Pelletier, Cholish and Gavin Phillips pitched for BMDA, striking out six.
Montsweag 15-14
Montsweag Roadhouse defeated Sunny Brook 15-14.
Pitching for Montsweag was Ethan Reno with two strikeouts and a tag out at home plate, assisted by catcher Andrew Card.
Also pitching was Aiden Wyman with six strikeouts, while Tyler McCarren also caught.
Ethan Reno had one hit and three runs scored, Dominic Hood two runs and an RBI, Robin Krull a run and RBI, Jonah Smith a run, Aiden Wyman a run and RBI, David Brown two runs, McCarren a hit and run, Aqil Alaboudi two runs and an RBI and Gavin Bogang two runs and the game-winning RBI.
