BOWDOINHAM — Paul J. Bergeron, 75, of the Bay Road, passed away after a long illness on Sunday, May 11, 2014, at VA Medical Center, Togus.
He was born on Dec. 2, 1938, in Lewiston, the son of Romeo and Delvina Bergeron.
Paul proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.
He worked at Maine Drilling and Blasting in Gardiner for over 20 years.
Paul enjoyed gardening, watching the New England Patriots and his dogs.
Paul was predeceased by parents.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years Donna Bergeron of Bowdoinham, daughters Tina Fearnley of Ct. and her husband Rick, Lori Hazzard and significant other Robert Beebe of Ct., stepdaughter Doreen Newton and her husband Dale of Bowdoin, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, May 14 at noon at the new Maine Veterans Cemetery, Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta, with military honors.
Arrangements are under the care of Kincer Funeral Home, 130 Pleasant St., Richmond.
