I write to support Ralph Tucker for the Democratic nomination in House District 50 — the eastern half of Brunswick — and urge registered Democrats to vote for him on Primary Day, Tuesday, June 10. Given that Tucker has lived in town for 37 years, raised three children here with his wife Nancy, served on both the School Board and Town Council, and walked up and down every street where Democrats live in District 50 during this campaign, he is very familiar with the people of Brunswick and their needs.
As a retired District Court Judge and Workers’ Compensation Commission Chair, Tucker has the temperament necessary to work cooperatively with other members of the Legislature to enact laws that are beneficial to the residents of Brunswick and the majority of Maine people. He will be a true credit to this town.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
