I have known and worked with Mike Timmons for several years in his capacity as an agent/officer of the Cumberland Farmers Club and my capacity as the attorney for the club. From my perspective, it has been a very positive relationship. Mike has an abundance of leadership qualities especially his ability to relate to, understand and resolve the issues at hand as proven many times as an officer in the Cumberland Farms Club. My relationship with Mike, in our respective capacities, has been a very positive and productive one. Mike is extremely good at listening, understanding and verbalizing the issues and resolutions.
I have also found that Mike’s problem-solving and negotiating skills are exemplary, likely honed through his many years in the education field as a teacher, principals and assistant superintendent of schools and his experience as an officer in the Cumberland Farmers Club.
Mike and I have known each other since high school and I would highly recommend him as a state leader with regard to his leadership qualities that would be required to represent the towns of Gray and Cumberand and work with our state leaders.
Again, because of Mike’s background in education, he has the ability to listen, analyze and negotiate in order to resolve disputes and/or solve problems.
Considering the many years I have known Mike in his various capacities, I can think of no one else as being more honest, sincere and trustworthy in business and contractual matters that I have been involved in than Mike.
I certainly intend to vote for Mike and highly recommend him and look forward to having Mike in the state Legislature.
In summary, the state of Maine needs more people like Mike in Augusta representing the people of Maine.
