SACO — Timothy F. Woodward, 51, of Saco, passed away on May 3, 2014 in Lucerne, Calif.
He was born in Peterbor-ough, N.H. on Feb. 13, 1963, a son of Lawrence and Beverly Woodward.
Tim graduated from Thornton Academy, Class of 1981. He also graduated from Maine Maritime Academy with a bachelor’s degree in nautical science, Class of 1985.
He was employed by Coastal Tankerships USA, Inc., and most recently by El Paso Energy in El Paso, Texas.
Tim enjoyed studying and reading history, fishing, playing and listening to music, and sailing around the world as a merchant mariner.
He is survived by: his father, Lawrence F. Woodward; and two brothers, David L. Woodward and Michael Woodward.
