Merrymeeting Audubon and the Kennebec Estuary Land Trust will host a birding outing through Thorne Head to Whiskeag Creek. The paths provide easy walking under a canopy of mature trees. Join Merrymeeting Audubon on an easy walk through a conservation easement surrounding a privately-owned working farm. The birding walk will focus on migrating land birds, including warblers, fly catchers, blackbirds, vireos, sparrows and raptors. Meet at Hannaford. No cost, all welcome. Welcome Back Warblers, 7:30 a.m., Boothbay
Boothbay Region Land Trust volunteer and birder Nancy Bither will lead a search for warblers at Lobster Cove Meadow Preserve in Boothbay. Birders of all levels are welcome. Wear sturdy shoes and bring binoculars. For more information, call 633-4818.
