BIDDEFORD — The family of Jeanne and Martin Gonthier celebrated the couple’s 60th anniversary the weekend of April 18-19 with the renewal of their marriage vows at St. Joseph Church on Easter Sunday, officiated by Kevin Jacques.
Jeanne and Martin were married on April 19, 1954 at St. Joseph Church in Biddeford by Father Roland Nadeau, a cousin of the groom.
They are the parents of four children, who are listed with their spouses: Michael and Lorie Gonthier of Wilmington, N.C., Diane and Jim Ouellette of Biddeford, Celeste and Joe Cota of Brewer and Lisa Gonthier of Rochester, N.H.
They are the grandparents of Michele (Ouellette) and her husband Kevin Gadbois, Christopher and his wife Melissa (Paquin) Ouellette and Tracy Boucher, all of Biddeford, Nola Prevost of Brewer, and Shannon Pesackis and her husband Michael of Wilmington, N.C.; and great-grandparents of Gabrielle Pesackis and Aiden McGuinness of Greenfield, Mass., and Demitri Hale of Biddeford.
