WATERVILLE — Maddy Olsen scored the game-winning goal with 2.6-seconds remaining to lift the Morse High School girls lacrosse team to an 11-10 Eastern Maine Class B win over rival Gardiner on Tuesday.
The game was moved to Thomas College due to unplayable field conditions in Gardiner.
Olsen put home a rebound of an Isabelle Paulus shot.
Sophie Sreden led the Shipbuilders, who host Oceanside on Thursday, with three goals and two assists. Ruth Nadeau (two goals, one assist), Grace Koslosky (one goal, two assists), Ann Tolan (two goals), Bronwyn Morissette (one goal) and Paulus (one goal, one assist) figured in the scoring.
Gardiner (6-3) led 5-4 at the half. Ally Day had a game-high five goals and picked up an assist for the Tigers, while goaltender Madison Cutler turned aside 11 shots.
