SACO — Frank B. Meserve, 56, of Niota, Tenn., died on April 12, 2014 from injuries of a traffic crash that evening in Niota, Tenn.
Frank was born in Saco on Nov. 5, 1597, son of Carl and Shirley Meserve.
He attended Saco schools and Thornton Academy.
Shortly after high school, he moved to Florida, and then several years ago, he moved to Niota, Tenn., which he called his new home.
Frank was a kind-hearted person, who enjoyed helping his friends when he could. He loved the outdoor life.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Carl Meserve in 1997.
He is survived by: his mother, Shirley Meserve of Saco; longtime friend, Joan McMullen of Sweetwater; sister, Marline Tarbox and husband Ernest of Old Orchard Beach; brothers, Clayton Meserve and wife Liz, Daniel Meserve and wife Charity, and Marc Meserve, all of Saco; and stepbrother, Roger Meserve of Iowa.
The family would like to thank his extended family in Tennessee; the Tennessee State Police, fire and rescue departments and Life Flight; University of Tennessee Medical Center; and the Saco Police Department for all of their professionalism and kindness they showed that night for Frank.
A private service will be held May 31. Arrangements are by Dennett, Craig & Pate in Saco.
