OLD ORCHARD BEACH — The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide are hosting their annual preseason party today at The Ballpark starting at 5 p.m. New to this year’s preseason party is an exhibition game. Season ticket holders and host families will get in for free and all food is free until the start of the exhibition game. If you’re not a season ticket holder or host family, it is $5 per adult & $3 per child/senior to attend, plus the concession stand will be open to purchase food at.
Starting at 6:30 p.m., the Raging Tide will play a 7-inning exhibition game against the Southern Maine Men’s Baseball League. The Southern Maine Men’s Baseball League was founded in 1989 and is made up of players come from all around the Greater Portland area.
The Raging Tide begins its regular season in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League on Wednesday as the team hosts the Nashua Silver Knights at 7 p.m. at The Ballpark.
