ST. FRANCIS (AP) — The search for a northern Maine man wanted in connection with the shooting death of his girlfriend is entering its fifth day.
Authorities say the search for 38-year-old Jesse Marquis of St. Francis is expected to continue today after more than three dozen law enforcement officials came up empty in their efforts on Tuesday.
Marquis was last seen early Saturday fleeing into the woods after leaving the home of 31-year-old Amy Theriault in the town along the Canadian border. She had been shot.
He is described as 5-foot-7, 150 pounds, with black hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing jeans, a green hooded sweatshirt, and a baseball hat.
