BATH
The Bath Freight Shed Alliance is seeking donations of used folding chairs in good shape for its annual community dinner, summer Full Moon Dinners and other events.
The annual dinner will be held Saturday, June 21, at 5 p.m. at the Freight Shed. All members of the community are invited but should sign up early as space is limited. The alliance is looking for input and comment on the ongoing development of Freight Shed as a local food hub and community resource.
If you’d like to come to dinner, visit www.bathfreight or shed.blogspot.com and look for the link to R.S.V.P. The alliance is asking for a potluck dish or a $10 donation to support food for this event. The public can sign up until June 14. Folding chairs can be dropped at the Freight Shed, 27 Commercial St., Wednesday or Saturday between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
