BATH — The Morse High School jayvee baseball team lost to to Lincoln Academy, 9-7 on Monday.
Chase Smith started the game on the mound, pitching five innings, striking out two, walking none and allowing three runs.
Tait Nygaard and Ricky Warren pitched well in relief.
Tyler Young was 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored, while Ethan Brewer added a double. Nygaard chipped in with a single and run scored.
Davis Newell played well defensively at second base, and Taylor Shaw was a defensive standout behind the plate.
