BATH — Montsewag Roadhuse toppled Sunnybrook 8-7 in a Cal Ripken- Baseball Minor Division playoff game on Monday.
Montsweag pitcher Robin Krull had three strikeouts in one inning, while Aiden Wyman hurled three innings with seven strikeouts and Ethan Reno two innings with two strikeouts.
Catcher Campbell Wyman played well defensively behind the plate.
In the Montsweag offense, Campbell Wyman singled, doubled and knocked in the winning run.
Also, Aiden Wyman had a hit, walk and run scored, Dominic Hood a hit, two walks, a run and an RBI, Tanner Munsey a hit, run and RBI, Reno a double, Andrew Card a walk and a run, Jonah Smith a walk and run, and David Brown two walks
For Sunny Brook, Trevor Hanna pitched five innings with 11 strikeouts, while catcher Ben Foreman played well.
Offensively, Trevor Hanna had three walks and three runs, Ben Foreman two walks and two runs, Zach Foreman a single and run, Caleb Cousins a single, two walks and run, Jason Bussey two singles, and Calin Gould and Elijah Wallace a walk each.
