BATH — In recent Bath Cal Ripken Major Division baseball action, Smith Tobey banged out 16 hits and received solid pitching once again for a 13-0 victory over BMDA.
For Smith Tobey, Isaak Flaming singled, doubled and tripled, finishing 3-for-3. Kaleb Jackson doubled twice and singled, Asa Hodgdon singled three times, Sam Kirkpatrick picked up two singles, Josiah Yeaton and Ethan Tesla each doubled, and Thomas Warren, Wade Bradford and Billy Riley each chipped in with singles.
Hodgdon made a great play behind the plate, diving to snag a pop up, and Tesla made a nice catch in center field.
For BMDA, Sam Sinibaldi was 2-for-3 with two singles, Cam Footer and Gavin Phillips each singled, and Josh Termors launched a triple.
