A Brunswick woman was arrested after allegedly striking a victim and chasing him with a baseball bat last week.
Harmony Pottle, 33, is being charged with domestic violence assault and criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, after police received a report of an assault at 9:21 p.m. June 5.
The victim was apparently staying at the New Meadows Motel on Bath Road when Pottle came looking for him, according to Brunswick Deputy Police
Chief Marc Hagan.
According to police, Pottle struck the 31-year-old male victim with her fists on his face and neck. Hagan said Pottle then attempted to strike the victim with a baseball bat, before chasing him on foot with the bat.
There were multiple witnesses to the incident, according to Hagan.
Pottle was released on $1,000 unsecured bond, and is scheduled to appear Aug. 19 in Cumberland County Superior Court.
The victim did not seek medical treatment, said Hagan.
