BATH — Bath’s lively arts community is on display during the 2014 season’s Third Friday Art- Walk and Tour. The first ArtWalk will be held Friday, June 20, from 5 – 8 p.m., with over 30 artists at open studios, galleries, and group shows. There will be paintings, photographs, works in ceramics, glass, wood, and other materials.
All venues will be in a special ArtWalk brochure, available at downtown businesses and The Times Record office.
In addition, there will be muscians and other sidewalk performers, and a third Friday performance at the Chocolate Church at 7:30 p.m. This month, 12-year-old Liam Swift, a singer-songwriter from Portland, will be the featured sidewalk performer, and Hollow Body Eclectic, a local band featuring the music of Peter Alexander, will perform at the Chocolate Church.
Third Friday ArtWalk will take place monthly through October.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
