Bath’s 3rd Friday ArtWalk season begins tonight from 5-8 p.m. With over 30 artists at open studios, galleries, and group shows presenting paintings, photographs, and works in ceramic, glass, wood, and other materials, the 3rd Friday night of each month in Bath is slated to be the place to be culturally.
But if that’s not enough enticement, there are usually nibbles to be had and drinks to be imbibed, too.
In addition to the visual arts, Bath will also have sidewalk musicians and other performers on Front Street, and a concert at the Chocolate Church at 7:30 p.m.
Venues for ArtWalk will be marked with festive blue or green flags and yard signs.
Tonight, the featured performer is Liam Swift, a 12- year-old singer and songwriter who blew Bath Art- Walk attendees away last year with his beautiful singing and catchy piano. This past summer, Liam won three singing competitions in Maine and New Hampshire. He also hosts a monthly Kids and Teens Open Mic at One Longfellow Square in Portland, and is currently working on a CD of his own music.
At the Chocolate Church, Hollow Body Eclectic will perform, and Liam Swift will perform as their opening act. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10.
