GORHAM — Robert Graff hit a two-run single during a four-run sixth inning Thursday that helped Morrill Post to a 5-4 victory against Moody’s Collision in an American Legion baseball game.

Nick Whitten, who had two hits, and Jacob Brown each singled in a run in the sixth for Morrill.

Damien Wallace had three hits, including a two-run double, an RBI triple and a single, with two runs, both on passed balls, for Moody’s.

NOBLE 5, BIDDEFORD-SACO SAVINGS 0: Josh Schultz singled home the winning run to cap a four-run seventh inning as Noble (1-0) downed Biddeford-Saco Savings (2-1) at Biddeford.

Reliever Brett Burke picked up the win.

Noble starter Corey Halliday struck out eight, walked two and gave up five hits through five innings.

Nate Huot paced Biddeford-Saco with two RBI on a pair of singles and a triple.

YORK-WELLS 11, BONANZA 0: Matt Pratt, Jordan Pidgeon and Forrest Kelley each drove in a pair of runs during an eight-run second inning that helped York-Wells (1-1) defeat Bonanza (0-3) in five innings at York.

York starter Dan Bock struck out six over 31/3 innings to earn the win.


WELLS 12, FAYETTE-STAPLES 4: Leo Heptig had three RBI singles as Wells (2-0) won at home.

Wells broke a 3-3 tie with six runs in the fourth inning. Cody Cousins started the rally with a two-run double. Nick Cousins added an RBI bunt.

BRUNO’S 7, SACO-BIDDEFORD SAVINGS 0: Dominic Tocci was 3 for 4 and drove in three runs to lead Bruno’s Restaurant (2-1) over Saco-Biddeford Savings (1-2) at Portland.

Jordan Talbot pitched four inning to earn the win. He struck out 10, giving up no hits and no walks.

Tom Joyce singled, doubled and drove in two runs. Matt Knowles also knocked in two with a pair of singles.

STANDISH POST 128 8, YANKEE FORD 4: Noah Scribner and Reid Wallingford each went 2 for 3 with an RBI for Standish Post 128 (3-0), which scored seven runs in the first inning and beat Yankee Ford (1-2) at Standish.

Zach Hicks struck out three and gave up three runs over five innings to earn the win for Standish.

Jack Whaley had two hits, including a double, for Yankee Ford.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER POST 86 7, SMITH-TOBEY 5: Evan Gallagher hit a pair of two-run doubles to lead Gray-New Gloucester Post 86 (1-2) over Smith-Tobey (0-2) at Gray.

J.T. Magno scattered five singles, striking out eight and walking one for Gray-New Gloucester.

CHASE CUSTOM HOMES 4, SOUTH PORTLAND 3: Jesse Southard scored the winning run on a passed ball in the seventh inning to lift Chase Custom Homes at South Portland.

Southard and Rob Pellerin had two hits apiece for Chase Custom Homes.

South Portland (1-1) got two hits from Jake Poole.
