BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. — Danny M. Gallucci, 99, of Bonita Springs, died on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at his residence, with his loving wife at his side.

He had been a resident of Bonita Springs since retiring in 1980, coming from Fairmont, W.Va.

Danny was born Sept. 30, 1914 in Italy, a son of the late Pietro and Consiglia (Tutalo) Gallucci, and came to this country at age 14.

In 1935, he graduated with honors from Fairmont Senior High school, Fairmont, W.Va.

He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Marine Corps, both in the U.S. and in the Pacific Theater.

After the war, he returned to work at what was to become FMC Corp. of Fairmont, W.Va.

He was preceded in death by: his first wife, Helen V. Gallucci; and a sister, Nina Cinelli.

He is survived by: his wife of 26 years, Yvonne M. Gallucci of Bonita Springs; his son, Daniel P. Gallucci and wife Marie of Bonita Springs; one brother, Joseph Gallucci of Bonita Springs; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by: his stepchildren, Daniel P. LeBlond and wife Margaret, Joseph A. LeBlond and wife Nancy and Cecile and husband Philip Deshaies, all of Biddeford, Maine, Jeannine and husband Donald Jarry of Saco, Maine, and Marc LeBlond and wife Kelly of Bethel, Maine; 13 stepgrandchildren; 20 step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

Services were held in Naples on June 16. A memorial service will be held at Hope Memorial Chapel in Biddeford, Maine at a later date.
