
Lorna was predeceased by her parents; husband, Eugene Hersom Sr.; brothers, Robert York, James York, Wallace York; sister, Marie McKenney.
She is survived by two sons: Douglas Alexander and his wife Anita and Robert Alexander and his wife Arlene, both of Phippsburg; a daughter, Lorna Jean Hersom of Brunswick; eight grandchildren, Joseph Alexander of VA, Echo Alexander of Bath, Shawn Howe of Phippsburg, Sarah and Kelsey Fitzgerald of Bath, Andrew and Benjamin Hewitt of NH, and Kaleb Trask of Bath; two greatgrandchildren, Alex and Lexie O’Camb of Bath. She is also survived by sisters, Ilene Perry of Bath, Carolyn Cromwell of Gardiner, and Edna Loveitt of Bath; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves a very dear neighbor and her daughter, Sherry Stultz and Kelly McKellar of Bath. She considered them both as members of her own family.
A graveside service will be Sunday, June 29 at 2 p.m. at Morningside Cemetery in Phippsburg, with Pastor Dan Coffin officiating.
