WOOLWICH — Donna Lee McIntyre, 64, of Woolwich, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice Home in Scarborough with her husband by her side. She was born in Manchester, N.H., on July 29, 1949, the daughter of John and Bernice (Stewart) Severance. She grew up in New Hampshire and graduated from Pembrook Academy, Pembrook, N.H.

On May 3, 2003, she married her soul mate and best friend Robert A. McIntyre and the couple resided in Woolwich. She was employed as a regional coordinator for Pitney-Bowes, retiring just a few years ago.

Donna loved to travel, always looking for new adventures to explore. She loved her family, and there wasn’t anything that she wouldn’t do for them. Her grandchildren were very precious to her, she would light up every time she got to spend time with them. In her spare time she tended to her flower gardens, Donna had a real passion for growing the most beautiful flowers.

She was a special lady that will be remembered forever in our hearts.

Donna leaves behind her husband, Robert McIntyre of Woolwich; sons, Steven Walsh of Manchester, N.H., and Kenneth McIntyre of Georgetown, Maine; daughters, Christine Walsh- Meisel of Manchester, N.H., and Amber McIntyre of Boston, Mass.; a brother, Stewart Severance of Loudon, N.H.; two sisters, Barbara Marier of Allenstown, N.H., and Jennett Ploude of Boscowen, N.H.; two grandchildren, Mara McIntyre of Georgetown, Maine and Trevor Walsh of Manchester, N.H., and nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014, from 4 to 6 p.m. at David E. Desmond & Son Funeral Home, 638 High St., Bath. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
