Feeney, 86, a graduate of Cheverus High School, was ordained June 12, 1954, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland and served at St. Joseph Parish in Portland, St. Patrick Parish in Lewiston, Our Lady of Ransom Parish in Mechanic Falls, St. Mary Parish in Bangor, St. Patrick Parish in Portland and at St. Bartholomew.

Clifford has been appointed parochial vicar for the Portland Peninsula and Island Parishes (Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Parish, Portland; Sacred Heart/St. Dominic Parish, Portland; St. Christopher Parish, Peaks Island; St. Louis Parish, Portland; St. Peter Parish, Portland). A native of Shawmut, Clifford was ordained June 14.

Kyle L. Doustou has been appointed parochial vicar for the Parish of the Precious Blood (Holy Rosary Church, Caribou; Nativity of the Blessed Mary Church, Presque Isle; Our Lady of the Lake Church, Portage; Sacred Heart Church, Caribou; St. Catherine Church, Washburn; St. Denis Church, Fort Fairfield; St. Joseph Church, Mars Hill; St. Louis Church, Limestone; St. Mark Church, Ashland; St. Theresa Church, Stockholm). Daniel P. Greenleaf has been appointed as diocesan director of seminarians in addition to his current responsibilities as pastor of the Parish of the Holy Eucharist (Holy Martyrs of North America Church, Falmouth; Sacred Heart Church, Yarmouth; St. Gregory Church, Gray; St. Jude Church, Freeport). Greenleaf was ordained in 1995 and has served at parishes in Bangor and Lewiston, in addition to his current role as pastor of the Parish of the Holy Eucharist. Greenleaf also has served as diocesan director of vocations, chaplain of Saint Dominic Regional High School, and in diocesan youth ministry and Catholic scouting.

Thomas Lequin is retiring from active ministry. A native of Holyoke, Massachusetts, he was ordained in 1977. A member of the Society of Jesus, Lequin has spent 36 years of active ministry in several parishes in Maine and currently is administrator of St. Joseph Parish in Farmington and St. Rose of Lima Parish in Jay. Lequin also ministered to students at the University of Maine at Presque Isle and the Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institute and at one time served as chaplain for Mercy Hospital.

Brad Morin has been appointed parochial vicar at St. Paul the Apostle Parish (St. Gabriel Church, Winterport; St. John Church, Bangor; St. Joseph Church, Brewer; St. Mary Church, Bangor; St. Matthew Church, Hampden; St. Theresa Church, Brewer). Morin was ordained June 6.

Effective July 15

Seamus P. Griesbach has been appointed as diocesan director of vocations and chaplain of Saint Dominic Academy. Griesbach was born in Spokane, Washington, moved to Maine as an infant and grew up in Lisbon Falls. He received his B.A. in philosophy from St. Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, before spending a year teaching religion at Saint Dominic Regional High School. Griesbach studied for the priesthood at the Pontifical North American College in Rome and was ordained in 2007. After his ordination, he returned to Rome to complete a degree in sacramental theology and then served as parochial vicar at St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Bangor. He is currently parochial vicar at St. Michael Parish in Augusta.

Paul Sullivan has been appointed parochial vicar at St. Michael Parish (Sacred Heart Church, Hallowell; St. Augustine Church, Augusta; St. Denis Church, Whitefield; St. Francis Xavier Church, Winthrop; St. Joseph Church, Gardiner; St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Augusta). Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, he attended the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester and studied at the New England Province of the Society of Jesus in Boston. He was ordained in 1983. As a member of the Society of Jesus, Sullivan was assigned to teach social studies and religion at Cheverus High School in Portland on two occasions and has served as pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Eastport and St. Joseph Parish in Gardiner. Most recently, Sullivan served as retreat director of the Eastern Point Retreat House in Gloucester, Massachusetts.

Effective Aug. 1

Daniel J. Baillargeon has been appointed as pastor of Corpus Christi Parish. He was ordained in 2007. Since his ordination, the Old Town native has served as parochial vicar in the parishes of Corpus Christi (Waterville), Good Shepherd (Saco) and currently, at St. Paul the Apostle (Bangor).

Joseph E. Daniels has been appointed pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Farmington and St. Rose of Lima Parish in Jay. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Daniels was ordained in 1990 and has served at parishes in Presque Isle, Lewiston, Bar Harbor, Bridgton, Fryeburg, and currently as pastor of Corpus Christi Parish, Daniels also has served as a chaplain for Maine Medical Center and Saint Joseph College.
