SACO — Delores M. McPherson, 84, died June 27, 2014 in Saco.
She was born April 24, 1930 in Ashland, the daughter of Edward and Alexina (Fournier) Despres.
She graduated from Ashland High School and Gray Business School in Portland.
She worked many years as a bookkeeper and CNA, and enjoyed reading and crafts.
She was preceded in death by: two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by: her three sons, Scott W. McPherson and his wife Carol, Kevin P. McPherson and his wife Mary Jo and Gary J. McPherson, all of Saco; one sister, Fern Jimmo of Pennsylvania; one grandson, Michael S. McPherson and his wife Melissa; and one great-granddaughter, Megan A. McPherson.
There will be no visiting hours, at her request. A private family memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Evergreen Manor in Saco for their wonderful caretaking. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Maine affiliate, P.O. Box 2208, Augusta, ME 04330-2208. Arrangements are through Hope Memorial Chapel in Biddeford.
