SACO — Christian Allaire of Saco was recently chosen as a winner of the Kentucky Fried Chicken Foundation’s REACH Educational Grant Program. He will receive a $2,000 award for the 2014-15 academic year.
Allaire was a member of the National Technical Honor Society at the Biddeford Regional Center of Technology, where he studied law and criminal justice. He graduated from Thornton Academy this year with honors. He works part-time at the Saco KFC, a franchise owned locally by Ron and Linda Giles and Stacey Giles-Dion.
He will attend Husson College in Bangor in the fall, where he plans to study criminal justice. He said he hopes to become a U.S. marshal.
