ARUNDEL — Yvonne Alice Smith, 79, of Arundel, died Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.
Yvonne was born Jan. 9, 1935 in Biddeford, a daughter of Joseph and Luella (Prentis) Pinette.
She attended Biddeford schools, and on June 28, 1952, she married Andrew J. Smith.
Yvonne cooked for the Shawmut Inn in Kennebunkport, the Dry Dock in Biddeford, and Jack and Renee’s Breakfast and Lunch Restaurant (now the Arundel Diner) in Arundel.
She enjoyed music, square dancing and several crafts, including knitting and bead work.
She was preceded in death by: her sons, Andrew J. Smith and Garry A. Smith; and by her brother, Lawrence Pinette.
Yvonne is lovingly remembered and dearly missed by: her husband of 62 years, Andrew Joel Smith; her son, David Joseph Smith of Arundel; her four grandsons, Nicholas Smith, Christopher Smith, Jason Smith and Tom Smith; and her great-granddaughter, Bailee Smith.
Arrangements for a memorial service have not been determined, but will be posted at www.bibberfuneral.com when completed.
