KENNEBUNK — The fourth annual Brick Store Museum Photography Contest will accept submissions beginning July 15, until the close of the contest on Sept. 5.
Photographs can be entered in one of three categories: “Kennebunk,” “Travel,” or “Nature.” Participants under 16 are invited to submit their entries in a separate children’s category. Winners will be selected from each category. Each participant may submit a maximum of three entries. Three talented artists from the southern Maine community will serve as the judges for this event. In 2013, the museum received more than 100 images for consideration.
Each entry must consist of a digital image and entry form. Every image entered will appear on the Brick Store Museum’s website from July 16 to Sept. 6 for viewing. Winning photographs, including “Visitor’s Choice,” will be displayed in the museum’s History Showcase in the fall.
For more information on the contest and rules, and to print an entry form, visit www.brickstoremuseum.org, or call the museum at 985-4802.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
