BRUNSWICK

Spindleworks is often known for an exuberance of color expressed through paintings, weavings, pottery and other creations. What can sometimes be missed in the glory of color is the subtle power in the initial mark making, early sketches, and ideas that happen daily in the studios. In this month’s exhibit, Monochrome, Spindleworks shares a selection of these striking and rich monochromatic pieces. As well as drawings, Monochrome includes new works from our pottery and sculpture studio as well as experiments from the newly established photography program. Please join us for the Second Friday ArtWalk July 11th, 5-8 p.m.

Monochrome will continue to run through July 31 at the Whatnot Gallery.
