ROCHESTER, N.H. — Janet M. Stover, 60, died Saturday, July 12, 2014 at her home, after a period of failing health.

Janet was born in Rochester on April 8, 1954, the daughter of Joseph and Albertine (Filion) St. Pierre and had been a lifelong resident of Rochester.

She was a graduate of Spaulding High School.

Prior to retirement, she worked at General Electric in Somersworth for 39 years.

She loved to cook for family and friends and enjoyed playing computer games.

Janet was preceded in death by: her parents; brothers, Norman, Roland and Kenneth; and one sister, Lucille.

Surviving members of the family include: her husband, LeRoy Stover of Rochester; one daughter, Jennifer Alvarez and her husband Juan of Rochester; twin sons, Jeffrey Burr and Jeremy Burr and his wife Jaime, all of Rochester; four grandchildren, Sydney, Elliot, Milo and Jacoby; four sisters, Therese Lesperannce and her husband Don, Doris St. Pierre, Lorraine Dubois, all of Rochester, and Rita St. Pierre of Farmington; one brother, Marc St. Pierre of Farmington; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held at the H. J. Grondin & Son Funeral Home, 177 North Main St., Rochester, on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, followed by burial in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cemetery.
